Class Schedules

Each class includes long held remedial stretches, slow restorative breath with movement sequences alignment excercises and strong core work, pranayama (breath building exercises) and meditation/rest. Each class aims to increase strength, flexibility and balance; to support mental strength and ease. Incorporated into some classes are Ayurvedic techniques such as massage on ‘trigger points’ and seasonal movement and lifestyle work.

A good level of fitness is required for the each class, although modifications are always given to allow for those requiring a more moderate pace. An ability to get up to standing and back down to sitting numerous times during the session is needed. There are modifications for those working with knee tenderness, pain or injury, fatigue and/or limitations in the movement of the hips and shoulders.
